| Product Description | The iconic SW388 is synonymous with Spoon. Honda fans around the world have been constantly requesting its resale, and Spoon has been exploring various possibilities and considering a re-production. With the same vision as back then, the new SW388 will be manufactured and sold at Tan-ei-sya, a leading Japanese forged wheel manufacturer in Toyama Prefecture, using a forging and cutting method, all made in Japan. The matte black anodized finish is lighter and stronger than paint. Why isn't the hub surface flat? Inspired by the human arch, an arch-shaped groove is cut into the inner surface, creating a space without surface contact. This naturally distributes the load outward, improving the connection strength between the hub and wheel, absorbing road shock, and reducing strain on the wheels and hub knuckles. Furthermore, the outward tension improves the center axis precision after installation and prevents the hub bolts from loosening. This design and function are key factors.
