| Product Description | It is a convenient adapter that allows you to do away with the Honda PCV valve and connect it to a blow-by gas hose. I often see a hose connected directly from the PCV valve to the oil catch tank, but it is basically wrong. When connecting to the oil catch tank, a valve is not required, and this PCV valve is simply used as a nipple by crushing it with a drill and penetrating it. The PCV valve opens the valve with a certain negative pressure and ventilates the inside of the engine by the negative pressure in the surge tank, allowing more air to flow when a large negative pressure is applied. However, that feature is basically not necessary in the motorsport scene. In addition, oil mist and blow-by gas from the PCV valve can cause dirt in the surge tank and carbon accumulation in the valve, so connect it directly to the oil catch tank. In addition, since the amount of idle intake air changes slightly by using this specification, it is more desirable to adjust the throttle. This PCV valve is often attached to the head cover, and the rubber packing is prone to oil oozing due to deterioration, so this product is made slightly thicker. The upper hole is PT1/8 and can be combined with various nipples. Three types of L-shaped nipples are available: Φ6, Φ8, and Φ10, so that they can be matched with the inner diameter of the oil catch tank hose. |
