Four years from conception, one year from prototype completion, repeated testing and race testing, and numerous specification changes have resulted in a lightweight yet highly rigid body that is both necessary and sufficient for competitive racing. Furthermore, the challenging machining of the piston cylinder was overcome using advanced special techniques. The finished body is then treated with ultra-hard anodizing.
