If you proceed with the analysis while setting up HONDATA, the exhaust pressure and exhaust temperature will be extremely high and the output will reach the limit when the genuine turbine is boosted and requires high output. However, since the fuel system of the L15C engine has normal and sufficient capacity, we decided that it is possible to further improve the output by developing a new large capacity turbocharger.
Turbocharger technology has rapidly evolved to meet strict fuel efficiency standards and exhaust gas regulations, and there are many manufacturers. From that, we adopted the latest MHI turbo that has high technical capability and can introduce high-dimensional technology, and after several months of development period, improve the output in the high rpm range and the torque improvement in the medium and low speeds. We have developed the BIG TURBOCHARGER KIT to be obtained.
Since the housing has the same shape as the genuine one, it is highly reliable and can be completely bolted on without additional parts or alterations. The diameter of both the compressor wheel and turbine wheel has been increased, and the turbine wheel shape and number of blades have been optimized to improve exhaust efficiency.
