| Product Description | SPOON SPORTS will be releasing a new PROGRESSIVE SPRING for the 11th CIVIC RS. We focused on the shape of the spring as a way to increase the spring rate without compromising comfort, and adopted a barrel-shaped spring. Unlike general straight-wound springs, this suspension has multiple rates due to differences in the diameter (size of the winding) of the spring, allowing you to use a low rate around 1G, which controls the ride comfort, and a high rate for high-speed cornering. The spring rate was tested at various stages and set to 4.0kgf/mm in the front and 4.5kgf/mm in the rear (normal rate F/2.8 R/3.9). The progressive spring balances sports performance and ride comfort, making the CIVIC RS an even more exhilarating car.
