| Product Description | SPOON SPORTS will newly release ALUMINUM RADIATOR for 11th Civic Type R (FL5). The most important thing for sports driving is to maintain performance and drive without putting stress on the car, and the most important point is engine cooling. With a K20C equipped with a turbocharger, the engine generates a lot of heat, and the water temperature rises quickly, making it difficult to cycle around the circuit continuously. Replacing the thermostat or lowering the operating temperature of the cooling fan can slow the rise in water temperature, but to maintain the optimal temperature, you will need to replace the radiator. With a view to using it in races, we introduced a prototype product with a core thickness of 42 mm to the Thunderhill 25 Hour Race and were able to confirm its effectiveness. Later, we conducted tests on a street car, and since the air conditioner condenser covers the front of the radiator, it is difficult for the wind to hit the radiator, and we realized that the same level of cooling performance as a race car is required on the street. We set up the same thing as the car as our product. Enjoy sports driving with peace of mind with this racing spec radiator. Notes & special notes: Made of aluminum, upper/lower tank is billet tank, core thickness is 42mm. Please use together with THERMO STAT 19301-FK8-000. Please cut the hose on the radiator side by 10mm and install it. |
