| Product Description | The material carbon is strong and lightweight, so it is used in various parts of the motorsports world and has a unique texture. The hood of the EG and EK series has been reduced in weight by approximately 1/2 from the standard 15.5kg to 8.2kg. The effect will be the same as if the air conditioner was not installed. In a front-heavy front-wheel drive vehicle, this weight reduction reduces understeer, provides quick turning, reduces the burden on the brakes, and improves acceleration performance, all of which provide good handling characteristics that are essential for sports driving. The product takes advantage of the lacy black carbon fiber texture. Installation is the same locking method as STD, and bonnet pins are not required. Window washers also work. Notes & Special Notes Early model (Note) Carbon products may discolor due to ultraviolet rays, so we recommend applying a clear coating to protect against ultraviolet rays. ・Be sure to temporarily align the product before painting. - The product will deform in environments such as paint booths/heaters, so please let it dry naturally without applying heat. ・When the temperature is low such as in winter, or when the humidity is high, please dry the entire product at a temperature below 40°C. ・Please do not heat partially.
