| Product Description | For HONDA cars, M and ATS are completely new concept clutches that apply the world's most advanced carbon technology and know-how of clutches for competition and racing to the pursuit of driver's security and comfort. It is an epoch-making carbon clutch that suppresses noise and impact, provides a refreshing and sure operation feeling, and has world-class transmission, heat resistance, durability and high cost performance. ■■ Characteristics of carbon single clutch The material and surface treatment of the clutch disc and pressure plate have been modified by introducing the latest technology for the single clutch, which is most suitable for normal to fine tuning vehicles. We have succeeded in increasing the transmission power to nearly twice that of the conventional model, and have a transmission torque of over 100 kg-m and reliability. Not only is it easy to handle on the street with excellent half-clutch characteristics, but the significant weight reduction of the CC composite improves synchro tuning and realizes a comfortable shift feel. The flywheel is not only made lighter, but also has a weight that matches the characteristics of the car in consideration of ease of riding. The friction diameter is appropriately reduced in consideration of the influence on the transmission force and the disc strength to improve operability and prevent judder. The pressure plate built into the flywheel and cover is surface-treated according to the characteristics of the carbon disc, and the clutch cover is set with the lever ratio and cover crimping force that match the carbon disc for soft usability and high. Both performance are compatible. ■ Disc part specifications Uses a special friction material created by the collaboration of ATS. The non-mesh random manufacturing method promises overwhelming strength, and there is no damage during running. An ultra-lightweight carbon disc weighing only 160g changes operability and acceleration performance. Due to its excellent cold friction characteristics, it realizes a strong and stable clutch that does not slip at any time of full acceleration. No prior heating operation is required. ■ Cover part specifications The compact and original design of the clutch cover ensures high rigidity by aluminum forging and shot processing. ■ Clutch plate part specifications Adopted special friction material produced by collaboration of ATS.
