Even with the GR86 that I usually ride, I was worried about the poor response of the genuine electronic throttle similar to the previous 86, Focusing on that, we challenged the CP development setup from a new idea. In the process, we confirmed that the throttle response problem could not be solved with a throttle controller that sends a false signal to the throttle opening as long as the genuine CP is used. Therefore, Orido proceeded with development and testing from a different perspective from the throttle controller, and succeeded in developing a sensitivity MAX that makes the uncomfortable part of the electronic throttle feel natural. The engine responds smoothly to starting from waiting at a traffic light, acceleration feeling as if the car has become lighter, and changing the throttle. In fact, it is a part that greatly affects the improvement of fuel efficiency because the throttle opening that has been stepped on so far can be reduced. |
