Product Description
Product features●This is a bolt-on turbo kit developed exclusively for GR86/BRZ. We tested multiple turbochargers that matched the FA24 engine and selected the best compressor wheel, cover, and exhaust housing combination. The turbo starts working smoothly from low revolutions, and you can feel the acceleration all at once until around 6000 rpm.- Considering the improved lateral bending and torsional rigidity of the vehicle body compared to the previous model (ZN6/ZC6) and safety, we have minimized the body modification that is common in retrofitted turbo kits and created a bolt-on kit while maintaining the stock body. I succeeded in doing so. Compared to our previous turbo kit, installation time is reduced by approximately 1.5 hours.●With a stock engine and without changing the fuel system, the maximum output is normal +50PS (approx. 290PS) with a set boost pressure of 39.2 to 44.1kpa (0.4 to 0.45kg/cm2), and a maximum torque of 39kg・m is generated at 3800rpm. To do. (Based on in-house testing) You can feel the acceleration unique to a turbocharger from around 2800 rpm, and its power is demonstrated not only in city riding but also on winding roads and circuits.●The shape of the air-cooled intercooler core has been changed to reduce heat sag due to increased intake air temperature and power down in the summer. This expands the range of settings and allows for future power increases.●By rewriting data with the GReddy performance ECU (sold separately), smooth acceleration is achieved as if the GR86 had a genuine turbo specification. In addition, by carefully creating map data, we have been able to ensure that fuel efficiency does not deteriorate significantly despite the increased power.*Fuel efficiency may drop significantly depending on driving conditions and driving style.●Since the product is developed with the assumption that a normal clutch will be used, it is possible to increase power while reducing the initial investment in the drive system.*Replacement may be required depending on mileage and degree of clutch wear.●With a catalytic converter, there is no need to change the structure, and you can obtain continuous vehicle inspections at private vehicle inspection stations as well as dealers without any problems by submitting a certificate of automobile exhaust gas test results.
