| Description | Introduced for the S209 and WRX S4 STI Sport#, this is a Flexible Draw Stiffener mounted in the upper part of the trunk. It connects the root parts of the right and left C pillars to apply tension, which moderately suppresses the torsion in the rear of the car body. This results in enhanced following abilities in the rear which improve the response to handling as well as handling stability.
By using this product in combination with the separately available Guard Bar (for Flexible Draw Stiffener Rear), deformation or damage to the Flexible Draw Stiffener Rear due to contact from baggage when loading it into the trunk or in the case of hard braking while driving, can be prevented. |
